MISSION

The LIBERIAN ORBIT is a web production consummating earnest endeavors of Liberians and friendly associates to further preserve the ongoing history of Liberia, as well as highlight activities and archives of its West African environment. With eyewitness experience and adequate connections in Liberia and the sub-region, the ORBIT team intends to use its professional communication tools to provide a platform for verifiable information, analysis and entertainment reports, including sports. We are committed to drawing on the pool of Liberian knowledge globally dispersed to add new meaning to the age of cybernetics.

Our coverage will span political, socio-cultural, economic, education, health and other development core issues in Liberia, West Africa and their international milieu. The ORBIT shall endeavor to serve as an effective forum for interaction and communication among Liberians everywhere through the wonders of the Internet.

Our mission will be incomplete if the African Diaspora and its past and global manifestations do not feature in our work. We are therefore poised to help spur exchange of information and ideas across the Diaspora. We welcome contributions from anyone irrespective of persuasions and background.
